Last March, I took a little road trip to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park in West Virginia with a couple of friends and my husband to be (we weren't really dating then). It was sort of our first unofficial date. Anyway, I had just recently jumped into the DSLR world, so I was eager to get in some practice. I geared up with my Rebel XS and my trusty nifty fifty and kit lens and we spent the day exploring the beautiful sights of Harpers Ferry. The highlight of the day was when we came very close to being police escorted off the premises. How were we supposed to know you're not allowed to wander around national parks after dark?
